Lab 0: Meet the Lab – تعرّف على المختبر
Description
In this introductory lab, students explore a virtual science laboratory before their first real experiment. They drag common tools such as beakers, flasks, graduated cylinders, balances and microscopes onto the lab bench and see a real photo and the name of each one. They also learn the meaning of the main lab safety symbols and the basic SI units of measurement through matching games, so they are ready to work safely and with confidence. في هذا الدرس التمهيدي يتجوّل الطالب داخل مختبر علوم افتراضي قبل أن يبدأ أول تجربة له. يسحب الأدوات الشائعة، مثل الكأس الزجاجية والدورق والمخبار المدرّج والميزان والمجهر، إلى طاولة العمل، ويرى صورة حقيقية واسمًا لكل أداة. كما يتعرّف من خلال ألعاب المطابقة على معاني رموز السلامة الأساسية ووحدات النظام الدولي للقياس، حتى يكون مستعدًا للعمل بأمان وثقة.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this lab, the student will be able to identify the common laboratory tools by name and photo, and choose the right tool for a given task. They will also be able to explain the meaning of the main lab safety symbols and match the basic SI units (meter, kilogram, liter, second, °C) to what each one measures. في نهاية هذا الدرس يكون الطالب قادرًا على التعرّف على أدوات المختبر الشائعة بالاسم والصورة، واختيار الأداة المناسبة لكل مهمة. ويكون قادرًا أيضًا على تفسير معاني رموز السلامة الأساسية في المختبر، وعلى مطابقة وحدات القياس الأساسية (المتر والكيلوجرام واللتر والثانية والدرجة السيليزية) بما تقيسه كل منها.
